Butterflies Get It

I think butterflies intuitively understand this basic principle many of us have heard before.

“No Risk, No Reward” or something like “No Risk, No Shot at Bliss”

We all know that caterpillars, go into cocoons, and come out butterflies, right? I think people do the same thing, just slightly different. We all get hurt, build walls around us, kind of like a cocoon. Some of us work on morphing, growing, and evolving, so we can go to the next level of life. Some of us try to move around in our cocoon or keep parts of it on our backs, preventing our wings from opening up.

The downside of holding onto the cocoon or bits of it is we may feel safe, but we still are living at that same level of life. The cocoon itself that once kept us safe can crush us and lead to our own injury. It’s really hard to fly or soar with more weight on us than we can successfully maneuver with.

There is often a struggle to break out of the cocoon, just like for us to break out of our “shells” but it’s worth it. We have to push for it, fight for it sometimes.

When caterpillars transform into butterflies, they really change. They don’t even eat the same food anymore. They go from munching mostly on leaves, to only drinking nectar with their tongues. They go from the basics to the finest and highest quality foods in a sense. A higher quality of life in a human sense.

One of the plus sides of being human, is that we can repeat this cycle several times in our lives, or have the ability to adjust the duration of certain phases of this cycle. We can be a caterpillar, or in our cocoons, or a butterfly for longer or shorter duration.

I’ll present it like this:

Have you ever looked at a butterfly flying around and been upset or angry with it for doing so? For doing its best, struggling through life, and enjoying what it can along the way?

(I usually feel a desire to smile when I see a butterfly flying around, living beautifully.)

Have you ever looked at your own life and been upset or angry with yourself for resisting something or not doing something?

(I usually feel this way whenever I’m not flowing towards the manifestation of glory. Whenever I’m denying or resisting something that would take me to the next level of life.)

Consider the following:

We are like butterflies.

Drop the dead weight or prolong your suffering.

“No Risk, No Shot at Bliss”

Your life is beautiful even with struggle and can be even more beautiful if you create space for it to be.

Struggle well and soar when you can, that’s natural.

Lastly when you see a butterfly, smile, be grateful, they’re beautiful and amazing!
